Urology San Antonio is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. This role is responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately while providing outstanding support to patients throughout their cancer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions.
• Position patients accurately and obtain required treatment imaging.
• Operate radiation therapy equipment, including Varian Linear Accelerator, CBCT, OBI, MV Imaging, and CT Simulation.
• Perform daily equipment quality assurance checks.
• Monitor patients during treatment and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and support staff.

Qualifications

Required

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T))
• Texas Medical Board Radiation Therapy License
• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills

Preferred

• One year of radiation therapy experience
• BLS Certification
• Experience with ARIA Oncology Information System
• Oncology or radiation oncology experience

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday
• Day Shift, 8-hour shifts
• No weekends
